How we protect your notes.
GOLD is physically separated from the LegacyApp app. You log in to the panel separately, with a one-time PIN sent to your email.
Separation from your vault
GOLD has no access to your notes, files or data. Your vault remains exclusively yours.
One-time PIN sign-in
Panel access uses a one-time PIN sent to your email each time. If you have email access, you have GOLD access.
Guardian has no note access
The Guardian only sees your main Recipient’s contact details and instructions, never your notes.

Each Guardian action is logged on our system and visible from your client dashboard.
How does the GOLD Plan differ from the free and Premium plans?
The free and Premium plans use only automated email and text notifications, with no way to add extra contact information. GOLD adds a separate dashboard and a Guardian, a real person who tries to reach your main Recipient by phone, text, social media and backup addresses when automated messages go unanswered.
Does the Guardian see my LegacyApp notes?
No. GOLD is separated from LegacyApp, and the Guardian can only see the contact details of your main Recipient. Authentication is via a one-time PIN, and every action is logged on our system and visible in your dashboard.
What happens if the person you’ve chosen can’t be reached, despite the Guardian’s actions?
The Guardian contacts your other Recipients one by one, in the sequence and on the timetable you set. You can designate up to 5. Each attempt is logged. For security, we never tell Recipients they have been added to LegacyApp.
Do I need LegacyApp on my phone to use the GOLD Plan?
Yes. GOLD is an add-on to the LegacyApp app, where all notes are created and stored on your phone. Download the app on iOS or Android and buy the GOLD Plan on the LegacyApp website. After purchase, activation is automatic.
